COVID-19 INFORMATION for 21PX Clients
It’s been a weird few weeks even though this virus has been spreading since December 2019. We’ve only experienced cancellations from another company that we work with in regards to weddings. And now we are starting to see how this affecting our clients for March to June of 2020; especially our brides and grooms.
Our heart goes out to you because this was so unexpected and so we want to ensure that we choose to be prepared than fearful for the sake of our sanity, our business and our clients.
But we won’t downplay how scary this time is… It is and it’s best to be logical and safe.
As your photographers, we want to be transparent and respectful. Your health matters to us the same way we value the safety of our family and friends. Both Dave and I have elderly parents and we do worry that because we are in constant contact with other people, we are always vigilant and practice social distancing.
Dave and I have been cautious with the amount of the times we got out in public and crowds.
We are constantly washing our hands and if we are not able to; we have alcohol hand sanitizers.
We will refrain from shaking your hand or hugging upon contact and so will you do.
We also have a stash of face masks we can use during your sessions if you would like us to use one.
We have Skype, Facetime, ZOOM and Google Hangouts available in exchange of limiting our in-person meeting.
We will be honest about our health to our clients. If we start feeling even the slightest fever, we will message/call you to postpone and reschedule your session or find another associate to photograph your session/wedding.
CORONAVIRUS FAQ FOR OUR WEDDING CLIENTS
POSTPONING OR CANCELING YOUR WEDDING
If you are to postpone, please contact your venues first in regards to the postponing fees and information. Your retainer will rollover to the new date just as long as we are not booked for that day.
However, if the new date selected we are booked, we have (2) options for you:
Option 1: We will refund the retainer amount you paid upon signing the contract to if we cannot shoot the new date you have rescheduled for your wedding. Please note that if you have already started paying in advance after you retainer, we will only refund only the retainer paid upon signing.
Option 2: If you are okay with our plan, Dave and I will split up if it so happens we have another wedding on your new date. We will find the right associates to be our second shooters and we will be editing your wedding as the usual.
If you wish to cancel because of the virus, we understand. Please message us as soon as you have decided to cancel your wedding and we will start refunding your retainer. However, if we have already shot your engagement session, we won’t be able to refund the retainer you paid. We can send over a cancellation contract and there are no other fees involved.
At the moment, Governor Lou has not placed Guam on a lockdown but has mentioned that any event above 50+ guests will be cancelled with no date of lifting the cancellation. If you are our wedding couple for May to June, please be in constant contact with your hotel venues and church in regards to any information they may have in regards to postponing/cancellations.
WHAT IF SCENARIOS
What if you and/or Dave get sick before my wedding or the day of?
We will contact you ASAP if we even feel the slightest sickness. We have several associates in our network and we will be in contact with them as soon as we need backup.
Dave and I care about your safety, if one of us is sick we will not be there and have another associate replace one of us in this case.
At the moment, Dave and I do not live together so if one of us starts feeling sick, we start quarantining ourselves from each other so we don’t infect the other one.
What if we are placed on lockdown days or a week before my wedding?
Contact your venues ASAP and we will then be in contact with you for a new date your venue will supply. If the new date is given and we cannot shoot that day, we will refund your retainer that you paid upon signing the contract. Please see above for the options we laid out for our couples who wish to postpone/cancel.
Due to the economic turmoil, are we allowed to downgrade our package options?
Unfortunately, you cannot downgrade once you have chosen your package. We can however plan and map out a payment plan option for you after your wedding. We will not start editing your images until the invoice is fully paid.
What if you have to send in associates for my wedding?
We will offer a 10% discount off your remaining balance if it comes to this that Dave and I are not at least half of the photography team on your wedding.
