Dusit Thani Guam & Tumon, Guam Engagement Session - Maggie and Cam
When M and I were discussing her possible locations for their engagement session, she showed me her pinterest board and her dress for the session. She and her fiancé at the time, C, wanted something that defined their style and their love. One look and from knowing M from high school, she was a classic beauty kind of gal. Her fashion sense, in my opinion, was a definition of high fashion. She walked with poise and grace. And C? C complimented her so much when they're hand in hand. He's the ultimate mixture of the boy next door neighbor that parents love and the kind of man boys wanted to be in their 20s; square jaw and effortless southern gentleman persona.
I knew that I would have to step up how I would pose these two. I knew that I won't be using my usual guides to get smiles and laughter. I would have to break out the Vogue and GQ type of posing. I wanted to bring out the mood M & C embodies when they're out and about on a date night, I wanted to bring the drama, the glitz, and the glam of their love.
M & C, I can't thank them enough for trusting my vision and for enduring the drizzling rain to get the shots outside. I can't thank you enough for being an absolute dream to photograph and for sharing what you envision that pushed me beyond what we usually photograph.
